Northern Colorado Set for Competitive Texas State Tournament

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Northern Colorado softball returns to action at the Texas State Tournament that's set for February 15 -18. All games will be played at the Bobcat Softball Stadium.

Bears Preseason Big Sky Conference No. 2
The UNC softball team was voted to finish No. 2 in the annual preseason rankings and was voted on by the league's six head coaches, who could not vote for their team.
The Bears recorded 22 points and two first-place votes.
UNC is the defending Big Sky Conference tournament champion, after a stellar 2023 postseason run to earn its first tournament title in program history. The Bears went on to the NCAA tournament and concluded their season with a 26-23 overall record under first-year head coach Dedeann Pendleton-Helm.
The 2024 Big Sky Softball Championship will be held May 8-11 at Idaho State's Miller Ranch Stadium in Pocatello, Idaho, with all six teams advancing to the double-elimination tournament.
