Softball begins season in San Diego for La Jolla Invitational

GREELEY, Colo. -- The Northern Colorado softball team begins the 2023 season in sunny Southern California, taking part in the La Jolla Invitational hosted by UC San Diego, this weekend, Feb. 10-12.
UNC opens play at at 2:30 p.m. (MT) against the University of Utah. The Bears finish out Friday with a night game, taking on hosts UC San Diego at 8 p.m. The game against the Titans will be streamed live on ESPN+.
On Saturday, Northern Colorado takes on Utah for a second time at noon, followed immediately with a game against Division I newcomers Stonehill at 2:30 p.m.
The Bears close out the invitational on Sunday with a lone game against Stonehill at 2:30 p.m.
