Bears and Grizz meet in Missoula

Opening Tip
• Northern Colorado heads into the second half of the Big Sky schedule, taking on Montana this Thursday, Feb. 2, in Missoula, Mont. Tip-off against the Grizzlies is scheduled for 7 p.m. (MT).
vs Montana
• The Bears are 13-23 all-time against the Grizz. However, UNC has won six of the last eight meetings.
• Montana snapped a three-game losing streak to UNC earlier this season, defeating the Bears in Greeley, 79-74, Jan. 7. In that contest, Dalton Knecht scored 32 points, shooting 10-for-16 from the field, including 5-for-9 from behind the arc.
Last Time Out
UNC dropped an 83-73 decision to NAU on the road last Saturday, as the Bears ran into a hot-shooting Lumberjack squad. Dalton Knecht finished the contest with 27 points, scoring 21 in the second half alone. Daylen Kountz scored 15 points, while Matt Johnson II finished third on the team in scoring with 12 points. UNC recorded no steals in the first half, but had five in the second half.

• Senior guard Dalton Knecht has posted 13 games this season in which he has led the Bears in scoring.

• Freshman Brock Wisne had a career-best night at Sacramento State (Jan. 12) putting up 12 points, shotting 5-for-11, including hitting one three pointer.
• Fellow freshman Langston Reynolds set career-highs in points (12), minutes played (17), field goals made (5), three-pointers made (2), and steals (1) in the loss to Montana State on Jan. 5.
