UNC women's basketball closes out its three game week at Weber State
Coming off a 13-point comeback win on Thursday night, Northern Colorado women's basketball looks to keep the momentum rolling on Saturday at Weber State. The Bears look to a avenge an earlier in the season Big Sky loss to the Wildcats with the noon tip-off.
Opening Tip
• Northern Colorado picked up a comeback road win on Thursday night, coming back from down 13 to defeat ISU 61-59.
• Savannah Smith recorded her third straight game of scoring at least 30 points on Thursday with a 33 point game.
• Ali Meyer recorded her seventh straight game with 10-plus rebounds, grabbing 14 on Thursday.
• A key to the Bears victory on Thursday was its free throw shooting. UNC went 12-for-14 from the line.
* All seven Bears that appeared in Thursday's game all found their way into the scoring column.
• Weber State has been off since last Saturday when they lost to Idaho State 84-57.

Scouting the Wildcats
Weber State has struggled throughout the 2018-19 season, entering Saturday's game with a 5-22 record overall and 2-15 in the Big Sky. The Wildcats are currently on a five game losing streak. WSU is struggling to score this year averaging just 61.1 points per game. They do have three players scoring in double figures in Jaiamoni Welch-Coleman (17.2), Emily Drake (12.6) and Kayla Watkins (12.1).
While the Wildcats are struggling to score, teams are averaging 70.0 points against them and shooting 41.2 percent. Opponents are also outrebounding Weber State by 1.8 boards a game.

Comeback Queens
UNC has become the comeback queens this season, coming back from down 10 or more four times this season. The Bears tied for the second and fourth best comeback in the team's DI history in back to back games. The Bears first overcame a 13-point deficit at Colorado State, holding the Rams under 10.0 percent shooting in the comeback, while UNC turned the switch on offensively against San Francisco to close out the 15-point comeback.
