UNC Women’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Schedule

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado women's basketball has officially announced its 2026–27 schedule, featuring 11 non-conference games, 16 road contests, and 15 match ups inside Bank of Colorado Arena.
The Bears tip off the season on Nov. 2 at home against Hastings before hitting the road for the first time on Nov. 7 for a trip to Austin, Texas, to take on Texas, which finished fourth in the AP Top 25. Following the match up with the Longhorns, Northern Colorado returns home for a three-game home stand against Northern New Mexico on Nov. 9, Sam Houston on Nov. 14, and UC Davis on Nov. 16. UNC then returns to the road for a pair of match ups, traveling to Provo, Utah, to face BYU on Nov. 21 before making the trip to Denver to take on the in-state opponent on Nov. 24. The Bears will close out the month of November at home against in-state foe Colorado Christian on Nov. 27.
Northern Colorado opens Big Sky Conference play in early December with a pair of road contests, taking on Idaho on Dec. 3 before facing Eastern Washington on Dec. 5. The Bears will then return to non-conference action, traveling for three straight games against Washington on Dec. 12, Omaha on Dec. 15, and in-state rival Colorado State on Dec. 19. UNC will close out its non-conference slate at home against North Texas on Dec. 22.
Big Sky Conference play resumes with a four-game home stand, as the Bears welcome Montana on Dec. 31, Montana State on Jan. 2, Southern Utah on Jan. 7, and Utah Tech on Jan. 9. Other home conference contests include Northern Arizona on Jan. 23, Eastern Washington on Jan. 28, Idaho on Jan. 30, Weber State on Feb. 11, Idaho State on Feb. 13, and Portland State in the home finale on Feb. 27.
UNC's conference road slate begins with a trip to Idaho State on Jan. 14, followed by a match up at Weber State on Jan. 16. The Bears will also travel to Portland State on Jan. 25, Montana State on Feb. 4, Montana on Feb. 6, Utah Tech on Feb. 18, Southern Utah on Feb. 20, and Northern Arizona on Mar. 1 to conclude the regular season.
The Big Sky Tournament is set for March 5–10 at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, Idaho, where the Bears will look to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Northern Colorado returns five players from its 2025-26 roster, including three All-Big Sky honorees in Tatum West, Heather Baymon and Neenah George. The Bears also finished with the conference top-rated defense last season.
