Thompson Wins 800m, @UNC_TrackField Concludes Air Force Invite

Northern Colorado men's and women's teams finish sixth
COLORADO SPRINGS- Northern Colorado Track and Field finished its competition at the Air Force Invite on Saturday afternoon.
Alicia Thompson won the women's 800m with a 2:19.25 minute run in the finals, six seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
Jake Tagita continued his strong indoor season, placing second in the men's triple jump after recording a 14.88m jump.
Ashley Register turned in another high finish in the women's triple jump, placing second with a jump of 11.85m. Kylie Chavez placed sixth with a jump of 11.41m.
UNC placed second in the men's mile relay with a time of 3:16.93 minutes. The women's team followed suit with a second place finish, recording a 3:54.92-minute race.
Cammy Sargent placed third in the women's 400m with a run of 55.90 seconds in the finals.
In the men's 200m, Kyle Thomas finished third with a time of 21.79 seconds. Antoine Coates also placed fifth in the finals with a time of 22.06.
In the men's 800m Luke Duggan placed third for the Bears with a time of 1:57.29 seconds.
Greg Laday placed fifth for UNC in the men's 60m, recording a time of 6.896 seconds.
In the women's one mile run, Alyssa Tatum placed fifth with time of 5:29.30 seconds in the finals.
Dorian Nesby placed sixth in the women's 200m with a 25.17 run in the finals. Nesby also placed eighth in the 60m with a time of 7.75 seconds.
Semaye Johnson placed sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.89 seconds.
Isaiah Remington and Cameron Ross placed eighth and ninth in the men's one-mile run respectively. Remington recorded a run of 4:32.49 minutes and Ross finished with a 4:35.40 time.
UNC women's team finished sixth with 56 points, while the men's team was also sixth with 37 points.
