Star Athlete Returns Home as a Coach

GREELEY, Colo. – Qwazon Al Khaliq, former University of Northern Colorado Track & Field super star returns to Greeley to coach current and future jumpers for the Bears, UNC Director of Track and Field Wanye Angel announced Thursday.
Al Khaliq brings a wealth of experience, a deep connection and appreciation for the program and the university.
Exceptional achievements marked his illustrious career as a student-athlete at UNC. He won the Big Sky Indoor Championship in the triple jump and set school records for both indoor and outdoor that still stand today.
