FARGO, N.D. -Northern Colorado dropped just a single doubles set en-route to a 7-0 shutout of Concordia College (Minn.) Saturday afternoon at Courts Plus.
Connor Finerty and Cassell King won their set at No. 1 doubles over Isaac Toivonen and David Youngs 6-2 and Kyle Pease and Nick Wade equaled that score against Eric Porter and David Schneck to give the Bears the team doubles point.
In singles, Connor Finerty met little resistance at No. 1 and defeated Isaac Toivonen 6-2, 6-1. No. 2 Kyle Pease did not drop a single game in his 6-0, 6-0 route over Eric Porter. Nick Wade, Michael Kritzinger, Alex Exsted, and Cassell King were also straight set winners for UNC.
The Bears (11-12, 1-9 Big Sky) stay in Fargo to play North Dakota their final regular season match on April 22 at 9:00 a.m.
