Sahm ties for 9th
FINAL ROUND RESULTS
PHOENIX - Northern Colorado came into Sunday in third place and despite playing with the pressure of playing near the top of the leaderboard, they turned in their best performance of the tournament. UNC shot just 4-over par as a team, 10 strokes better than their previous best performance. Sunday's result was good enough for the Bears to hold off host school Grand Canyon for third place on GCU's home course.
Morgan Sahm tied for ninth after a final round of 76. Sahm was only able to card one birdie on the par 5 10th hole and paired that with 13 pars on the day to finish four strokes out of the medalist position. This was Sahm's third straight top 10 finish this season.
The top round from the Bears on the day belonged to Beah Cruz. She carded an impressive six birdies on her round on the way to shooting one-under par 71. Cruz's final round elevated her up to 15th on the leaderboard and her top finish of the year.
Marisa Hisaki's final round 73 helped her to a 27th place finish. Hisaki was very steady with 15 pars and scattered a birdie and pair of bogeys along the way during her one-over par round.
Nicole Polivchak also had an excellent day shooting even par 72. Her round included 16 pars and just one birdie and bogey. Polivchak's 72 helped her to rise 19 spots on the leaderboard to finish in 33rd place.
Aili Bundy finished up her tournament with a 76 and 39th place finish.

"We had a very consistent week this tournament with some nice finishes out of Morgan Sahm, T9th and Beah Cruz, T15th. Beah had a great round today helping us out with a 1-under par 71. She had 6 birdies today with some rough pins. Morgan wasn't quite herself today but continues to play great for us, leading the way! Marisa was very good most of the week as well shooting 73 and Nicole came back when we needed her today firing an even par 72. I am also impressed with the growth that Aili has shown and continues to improve in her tournament play. We had another chance to play in the final pairing today with the leaders and the team performed great! We will keep learning and growing as we progress towards the rest of our spring season."
