GREELEY, Colo. - Northern Colorado Women's Golf is excited to announce the addition of a new signee who will join the Bears for the upcoming season.
MEET THE SIGNEE
SIYAO LIANG | TEMPLE CITY HS | TEMPLE CITY, CALIF.
Liang comes to Northern Colorado as a highly accomplished and consistent competitor with an impressive list of achievements. She claimed the title at the 2025 AJGA Super Lychee Preview Championship and earned a third-place finish at the 2024 Jack Kramer Memorial.
A dominant presence in league play, Liang was a three-time League Medalist (2023, 2024, 2025) and earned All-Team and All-League honors, finishing as the League Runner-Up in 2025.
In addition to her competitive success, Liang was recognized in 2024 by her high school's booster club for her outstanding contributions, sportsmanship, and team spirit, highlighting her impact both on and off the course.
Outside of golf, Liang enjoys reading, spending time walking with friends, listening to music, and exploring new foods. She plans to pursue a career in Business Administration: Marketing.
Liang chose UNC because of the strong balance between athletics and academics, along with the welcoming team environment. "I chose the University of Northern Colorado because it felt like a place where I could truly flourish as both a golfer and a student," she said. "I was really drawn to the women's golf program and the competitive environment, but also the supportive culture of the team and coaches. That balance stood out to me, and it made me feel like this is somewhere I can keep improving while also enjoying the process and being part of a strong team."
