TEAM RESULTS | INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Northern Colorado gained some valuable experience on the same course that they'll be competing on for the Big Sky Conference Championship in April as they put together a fourth place finish at the Battle at Boulder Creek. UNC finished just one stroke behind Big Sky rival Southern Utah for third place. Toledo took the team title shooting 914 (+50) and Northern Illinois maintained their second place position shooting 927 (+63).
Freshman Nicole Polivchak lead the way for UNC during Tuesday's final round shooting a one-over par 73. Polivchak's round was the second lowest of the day by any player and moved her into a tie for 20th best individual score for the tournament. Sophomore Morgan Sahm finished with a disappointing score of 79, but it was still good enough to tie for ninth place on the individual leaderboard.
Freshman Aili Bundy shot a final round 78 and secured a tie for 13th individually, her top finish this season. Despite having a tough day on Tuesday shooting a final round score of 85 each, Marisa Hisaki and Beah Cruz still were able to finish in the top 30 on the difficult course.

"It was a great experience for the team to be in the final pairing and feel some added pressure. We didn't quite play our best, but it will benefit us in the long run. Nicole Polivchak played great today with five birdies and shot 73. Aili was very consistent all week shooting all three rounds in the 70's and Morgan didn't quite have her best stuff, but still led the team with a ninth place finish. Marisa and Beah struggled some today, but will learn from this tournament and I know will play great in the next one. It was great to see this golf course, as it is the same course where the Big Sky Conference Tournament will be held in April. We will practice hard and get ready for Phoenix, as it is a pretty quick turnaround."
