Both teams are Big Sky opponents and an opportunity for the Bears to move above .500 conference play.

UNC started the match winning the team doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, 6-4 and 6-4 respectively. In singles, Anna Battersby defeated Mimi Yunker 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1. Then Beth Coton won a three set match at No. 2 against UND's Preethi Kasilingam 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. Courtney Shulte won at No. 4 and Ella Mora also picked up a win at No. 6 for the Bears. Overall, the Lumberjacks have won 18 of their 21 doubles matches.

Montana then picked up a win versus Southern Utah 4-3 and ended the weekend with a loss to Boise State 6-1. Montana has struggled in doubles this season, winning the team doubles point just three times. senior. Hannah Sulz has held down the No. 1 singles spot for the Grizzlies for all of their matches this spring. She can be a difficult player to put away as four of her matches have gone to a third set.
Worthless Stat: There are actually eight courts on UNC campus but six are used for Division I competition. They are blue and green in color, similar to the color scheme used for the US Open in Flushing Meadows, New York.
