Last Time Out: Last weekend, the Bears defeated Eastern Washington in Cheney 5-2, before dropping a match against Idaho 7-0 in Moscow. Against Eastern Washington, the bottom of the singles lineup was strong for UNC. Marissa Baca and Courtney Schulte both won in three sets at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively. Lily-Ana Kreutzer won a second set tiebreaker to win her match at No. 5 and Rafa Mora got by Valentina Sottile at No. 6, 6-4, 7-6(4). Idaho proved to be a challenge for the entire team, but Lily-Ana Kruetzer nearly picked up a victory in singles, dropping her match by just two points against Idaho's Shion Watabe 6-2, 4-6, 12-10.
Need to Know: Marissa Baca and Anna Battersby have been a strong doubles duo so far this spring for UNC. They have a 4-1 record, 2-1 playing at No. 2 and 2-0 playing at No. 3. The team as a whole has been good in doubles posting an 11-6 record.

The doubles duo was able to beat the No. 10 ranked doubles team from TCU during the ITA-All American Championships 8-7(5). As a team the Cowgirls are riding a three-match winning streak with wins against UTEP (4-0), Montana State (6-1), and North Dakota (7-0)
Scouting Colorado College: The Tigers have split the two matches they have played this spring. They lost 0-7 to Utah State in their most recent contest and beat Midland University 7-2. They feature a young roster with Maddie Cahill-Sanidas as the only senior on the team. Anthony Weber has been leading the team as head coach since August 2013.
