GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado (8-17, 4-10 Big Sky) preps for its last road game of the season as the Bears travel to Pocatello, Idaho to take on Idaho State (5-20, 3-10 Big Sky) on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m.

Scouting Northern Colorado (Game Notes)
- UNC is coming off its fourth straight loss after falling down the stretch at Weber State 69-63 on Thursday night.
- The Bears finished the night 27-of-62 (43%) from the floor and 7-of-24 (29%) from beyond the arc and Weber State to just 28% shooting from three-point land in the loss.
- Northern Colorado only got to the free throw line three times the whole night, going 2-of-3, while Weber State reached the charity stripe 19 times, finishing 16-of-19.
- The Bears currently sit as the third-best three-point shooting team in the Big Sky, averaging 8.8 threes per game.
- UNC is also sporting one of the top defense in the league, holding opponents to 45% shooting and 34.7% from beyond the arc.
Scouting Idaho State
- The Bengals enter Saturday's game with a 5-20 overall record and a 3-10 conference mark. Since ISU defeated UNC in Greeley, they have gone 2-6.
- Idaho State is currently averaging 69.0 ppg, but allowing its opponents to score 79.0 ppg. ISU however one of the best turnover creating teams in the league, averaging 7.4 steals per game.
- Ethan Telfair currently paces the Bengals' offense, averaging 16.5 points per game. The only other player averaging double figures on the year for ISU is Brandon Boyd, who is producing 12.0 ppg.
- Idaho State is currently riding a three-game losing streak heading into this weekend's game in Pocatello after falling to North Dakota at home 77-61.
Last Time Out
- Northern Colorado held a late lead over Weber State on Thursday night, but the Wildcats were able to overcome the deficit and squeak out the win at home, 69-63.
- Much like last time the two teams met, the game remained tight, as the largest lead the whole night was eight points.
- Northern Colorado grabbed the edge early, on a 14-4 run to end the first half. During the rally sophomore guard, Jordan Davis was good for eight of the 14 points, giving the Bears a 32-28 lead at break.
- The Wildcats traversed on a 12-0 run in the second half to tilt the scoreboard in their favor 58-52 with 4:30 left in the game.
- Northern Colorado worked its way back into the game thanks to six straight points from Davis to tie it at 63-63 with 90 seconds remaining on the clock. Unfortunately, the Bears went 0-for-6 from the field over the last 1:29 of the game and WSU cashed in on six straight makes at the free throw line from Kyndahl Hill to seal the ball game at 69-63.
The All-Time Series
- Idaho State owns the all-time series lead against UNC 34-19 as the teams gear up for game 53 of the matchup.
- The Bears fell to the Bengals at home earlier this season 73-69. UNC had a hard time containing the ISU offense as five Bengals finished in double figures, UNC also finished 6-of-19 from the free throw line in the loss.
- In games played at Pocatello, Idaho State is 19-7. The last time UNC won in Pocatello came in the 2010-11 season, edging out ISU 77-74.
- Idaho State is currently riding a three-game winning streak over Northern Colorado.

- In the previous seven seasons, the most road wins any team has had is six, and that was in 2010-11 when UNC won the Big Sky title.

20-Point Games

- The most 20-point games any player has produced in the Division I era came in the 2010-11 season when Devon Beitzel finished the year with 21 games of 20 points or more.
- Davis' 12, 20-point games are the second most produced in a single season UNC's Division I history.
- The sophomore began the season with six-straight 20-point performances. The only streak better was Beitzel's, who recorded 10 straight games with 20 points or more.

- This will be the 22nd game played in UNC program history on Feb. 18. Overall, the Bears are 9-11 on the date.
