Give Love and Give Back this Saturday with the Bears. All fans can bring a non-perishable food item or canned goods to the Men's Basketball game against Eastern Washington at 2:00 p.m. In return for the generosity, fans can receive $3 tickets for each donated item
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado (8-15, 4-8 Big Sky) has a quick turnaround as Eastern Washington (16-9, 8-4 Big Sky) comes to town on Saturday, Feb. 11 for a 2:00 p.m. tip.

Weld County Food Bank donation stations will be outside the Bank of Colorado Arena ticket box office where fans can drop off their items and receive a voucher to take to the adjacent box office to redeem for $3 tickets.

Scouting Northern Colorado (Game Notes)
- UNC is coming off its third straight loss at home, falling to Idaho 88-76. The Bears whittled down a 28-point deficit, cutting the Vandals' lead down to eight in the second half, but could not get any closer.
- Junior guard, DJ Miles scored his second 30-point game of the season, finishing with a game-high 30 points in the loss. Miles now averages 13.6 points per game on the season, and is second on the team in scoring.
- Sophomore guard, Jordan Davis took back sole possession as the Big Sky assist leader. Davis dished out eight dimes on Thursday and is averaging 5.6 apg. Sac State's Marcus Graves ranks second in the league, averaging 5.5 apg.
- The last time Eastern Washington visited Greeley came on New Year's Eve of the 2015-16 season with UNC coming away with a 96-90 win. Former guard, Jordan Wilson dropped 26 points in the win.
Scouting Eastern Washington (Game Notes)
- The Eagles venture to Bank of Colorado Arena on Saturday boasting a 16-9 overall record and an 8-4 mark in the Big Sky. The team is coming off a 95-86 loss at North Dakota on Thursday.
- EWU's head coach, Jim Hayford notched his 100th victory as a total of three Big Sky Conference records were broken after the Eags' 130-124 (3OT) victory over Portland State last weekend.
- Jacob Wiley, a three-time Big Sky Player of the Week award winner, currently paces the team, averaging 20.4 ppg, and an impressive 27.7 ppg in conference play. Bogdan Bliznyuk isn't far off from Wiley, averaging 19.1 ppg and 17.2 ppg in Big Sky games. The duo combines to lead the team in scoring, rebounds and assists.
- EWU enters the week as the best free throw shooting team in the Big Sky, averaging 75.2%, as well as a defensive presence, leading the league in blocks, averaging 5.1 per game.
Bears' Last Time Out
- Despite a late rally, Northern Colorado couldn't overcome a large first half deficit on Thursday night, falling to Idaho 88-76.
- Just six minutes into the game UNC saw itself trailing by double figures (19-9). That trend carried over for the majority of the night.
- UNC's hole got a little larger in the opening minutes after the break. UI put the ball in the basket in its first eight possessions to start the second half, outscoring the Bears 19-6 and taking a commanding 62-35 lead.
- Northern Colorado trailed by as much as 28 points in the second half, but the scrappy team from Greeley didn't throw in the towel. The Bears clawed their way back into the game, going on an 18-2 rally that consumed four minutes to make it just an eight-point game (80-72) with 1:37 to play. Unfortunately, time was not on UNC's side and Idaho was able to outlast UNC at the free throw line.
- DJ Miles led all scorers on the night with 30 points, his second 30-point game of the season. Jordan Davis ended the night with 21 points, eight assists and six rebounds, while Chaz Glotta was the third player to reach double figures for UNC, tallying 17 points.
Climbing The Ladder
- Just 54 games into his career, sophomore guard, Jordan Davis is etching his name into the UNC record book.
- Davis has jumped to fourth in career assists in Division I history with 195 dishes. He's also moved up to ninth in career field goals made, with 282.
- The most recent addition to his career accolades are the UNC Division I career free throws made and free throws attempted. Davis now sits 10th in free throws made with 193 and eighth in free throw attempts with 297.
- In the 2016-17 season, the only player to get to the free throw line more than Davis in the conference, who's gone 161 times, is Southern Utah's Randy Onwuasor, who's reached the stripe 188 times.
Against The Eags
- Game 21 in the all-time series is on-deck this Saturday. The victor will take the series lead as the Bears and Eags are deadlocked at 10-10.
- The Bears hold a 7-3 overall record in games played at Bank of Colorado Arena.
- UNC split games with Eastern Washington last season, winning in Greeley 96-90, but falling in Cheney 97-80.
- The series began in the 1971-72 season with the Eagles taking the W over the Bears in Greeley 76-68. The two teams didn't meet again 35 years when UNC joined the Big Sky.
