Highlands Ranch, CO - The fall portion of the schedule will wrap up this weekend for women's golf as they head down to Denver to compete at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate. The tournament is hosted by Denver University and will feature 13 teams and 82 individual players competing at the Highlands Ranch Golf Club.
With only one upperclassmen on the roster, the young Bears have finished in the top half of the field in two of its three competitions this season.
Sophomore Morgan Sahm has led the way with a team-best scoring average of 74 this season. She has finished in the top 22 in all three tournaments with her top finish being 12th.
Freshman Nicole Polivchak is averaging 75 with a top finish of 21st. Sophomore Marisa Hisaki had her best performance of the season last week in Oregon by finishing 16th and is averaging 75.44. Freshman Beah Cruz is not far behind with a scoring average of 76 and a top finish of 27th. Sophomore Hanna Atkins has a scoring average of 77.87 and is coming off her best finish of 54th.
