The Bears and the Eagles tip at 3:05 p.m. (MT) on Saturday, Feb. 13.
GREELEY, Colo. – Men's Hoops (8-16, 5-7 Big Sky) goes for the series sweep and attempts to shake their losing streak at Eastern Washington (14-10, 8-4 Big Sky) this Saturday, Feb. 13 at 3:05 p.m. (MT).

Scouting The Bears (Game Notes)
- Northern Colorado was handed its third straight loss at Idaho 73-67 on Thursday night. It's the fourth time this season the team has had a losing streak of three games or longer.
- Both Jordan Wilson and Anthony Johnson paced the team in the loss, scoring 35 of the team's 67 points. Wilson led with a team-high 18 points while Johnson chipped in 17. Combined the duo shot 9-of-19 from the three-point arc.
- UNC hasn't won in Cheney since the 2012-13 season when they defeated EWU 88-80 in overtime. The Bears also haven't swept the series between the two teams since the 2012-13 season as well.
- Junior guard, Jordan Wilson led the Bears in the team's 96-90 win over the Eagles earlier in the season, scoring a career-best 26 points and adding 7 assists.
- Northern Colorado is 3-6 all-time in the program's history in games played at Eastern Washington with two of those three wins coming under head coach B.J. Hill.
- Coach Hill is currently 6-4 all-time against the Eagles.
Scouting The Eagles (Game Notes)
- The Eagles head into Saturday's matchup on a five-game win streak and an eight-game home win streak after defeating North Dakota 95-85 on Thursday. EWU sits with a 9-1 record overall at home with their only loss coming against South Dakota, 77-71 coming back in November.
- Eastern Washington boasts the best scoring offense in the Big Sky, averaging 82.6 ppg and has the top scorer in the league in Austin McBroom who averages 20.6 ppg.
- The Eags lost to UNC earlier in the season 96-90 in Greeley to open conference play.
- EWU has three other players averaging in double figures in Venky Jois (16.8 ppg), Felix Von Hofe (13.2 ppg) and Bogdan Bliznyuk (12.2 ppg).
- Senior guard, Austin McBroom set a career-high in points with 35 in the win over UND on Saturday. It's the second time this season he's hit the 30-point mark. He also has seven 20-games this year.
Big Sky Implications
- With six games left in the season, UNC currently sits in eighth place overall with a 5-7 record. Eastern Washington has a strong hold on third place in the standings, sitting at 8-4 in league play.
- A spot in the top four remains up for grabs, but the Bears would need to pick up wins against Eastern Washington, North Dakota, Montana State and Montana, should a spot come down to a tie breaker scenario.
- If Northern Colorado would win the remaining games on its schedule they'd end league play with an 11-7 record.
- If the regular season ended today, Northern Colorado would face Portland State in the Big Sky Championship Tournament. in Reno

- Northern Colorado blew a 13 point first half lead in Moscow, falling down the stretch to the Vandals 73-67. It's the team's third straight loss to Idaho and UNC moves to 0-2 all-time in Moscow.
- Anthony Johnson and Jordan Wilson combined for 35 of the team's 67 points and hit 9 of the 10 three balls on the night for UNC. It was just the third time this season the team has hit ten or more threes in a game.
- Idaho finished the game at the free throw making 20-of-23 shots at the charity stripe in the second half. The Vandals finished the game 25-of-30 at the line, getting 10 more attempts than Northern Colorado who finished 15-of-20.
- The Bears defense wrangled in 9 steals on the night, their third time in four games hitting that mark. UNC's season high for steals is 10, which they tallied at Colorado back in November.
- As a team, UNC finished 42.9% (21-of-49) shooting, but were better from beyond the arc at 45.5% (10-of-22).
Heartbreak Before Valentine's Day
- Northern Colorado is just 6-11 in games played on Feb. 13th.
-The first win on the date came against Wyoming in the 1913-14 season, sneaking away with an 18-17 victory against the Cowboys.
- The last time the Bears won on Feb. 13 was in the 2013-14 season, defeating Montana in Overtime 89-86.
- The last win for UNC on the road on Feb. 13 came at North Dakota in the 1987-88 season, defeating the Fighting Hawks 63-61.

- New this year the Big Sky Conference will be headed to Reno, Nevada for both the men's and women's tournament. The #RoadToReno will begin on New Year's Eve and take place over March 7-13 for the women's tournament.
