GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado women’s track and field standout Camaria Corder has been named the January Student-Athlete of the Month, presented by Sexy Sammies, after an exceptional month highlighted by record-breaking performances.
Corder rewrote the program record book in January, breaking the school’s triple jump record twice while also recording the 4th best triple jump performance in Big Sky Indoor Track & Field history. Corder is currently ranked 18th in the country and first in the conference in the event (13.07m, 42’ 10.74”).
Her continued ability to raise the bar and deliver elite performances at a high level has been a major boost for the Bears.
As the season progresses, Corder’s momentum and consistency are encouraging signs for Northern Colorado as they continue to build toward championship competition.
