HIGH SCHOOL / PERSONAL:
While in high school, Durand went 33-6 and recorded the most points on the team, the most pins, and was the team captain… He placed fourth in the state of Hawaii to end his high school career… Boyd received principles honors.
Boyd enjoys playing video games and being a part of the Army ROTC… Durand hopes to become a U.S. Army infantry solider upon graduation from UNC… Boyd joined the UNC wrestling team because he loved the wrestling and thought it would be a great fit for him.
Son of Jennifer and Brian Durand… Brother of Patrick Durand.
