2024-25 / REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE:
Season: Menke went 10-7 during his redshirt sophomore season... Menke recorded two pins, three tech falls, and two major decision wins... Menke competed in the 2025 PAC 12 Championships and took home second place.
Mike Clock Open 2024 Men (11/10): Menke went undefeated at the tournament and took home first place at 165. Navy Classic (11/23): Menke went 2-2 while competing in the Navy Classic. Menke recorded two wins by decision. Reno Tournament of Champions (12/22): Menke went undefeated at the Reno Tournament of Champions. Menke recorded two tech fall wins and three wins by decision. Stanford (01/31): Menke won by decision over Collin Guffey. CSU Bakersfield (02/02): Menke won by major decision over Coen Quintana, 16-4. Cal Poly (02/07): Menke won by decision over Cash Stewart, 14-7. 2025 PAC 12 Championships (03/06): Menke took home second place at 174.
2023-24 / SOPHOMORE:
Season: Menke went 8-5 during his sophomore season and appeared in four duals at Oregon State... Menke recorded three falls, one sudden victory win, and three wins by decision.
Greensboro (11/02): Menke won by forfeit. Queens (11/02): Menke won by pin over Suhaib Hatamleh. North Carolina (11/02): Menke won in sudden victory over Danny Nini, 2-1. Southeast Open (11/04): Menke went 1-2 and recorded a 10-3 decision win over Davidson’s Noah Frack. Reno Tournament of Champions (12/17): Menke went 4-2 and recorded two pins and two wins by decision.
2022-23 / FRESHMAN:
Season: During Menke’s freshman season, he went 2-2 and recorded a sudden victory win and a win by decision... Menke opened his collegiate career at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
Reno Tournament of Champions (12/18): Menke went 2-2 and recorded a win over Giovanni Bonilla of Grand View (Iowa) and a win over Simpon’s (Calif.) Tyler Diaz.
HIGH SCHOOL / PERSONAL:
While at Ponderosa High School, Menke recorded a 34-6 mark in his senior season and became the 160 lbs. Colorado State Champion... Menke placed in the state tournament all four years of his prep career.
Son of Wendy Evans and Luke Menke... Brother to his sister Skyler... Menke is majoring in Business Administration and plans to own his own business upon graduation... Menke enjoys lifting weights, fishing, and watching movies in his free time... Menke chose UNC because it is close to home.
Menke’s father played rugby at Colorado State University, and his uncle Jake Menke and Grandfather Pat Menke are both UNC Wrestling Alumni.
