2014: Continued her reign as a leader while starting all 54 games … Third on the team in RBI’s with 34 and runs with 33 … Totaled 45 hits, good for fourth on the team, while averaging .290 at the plate … Led the Bears in triples for the third straight year with three … Also led in sacrifice hits with two sac flies and five sac hits … Third in Big Sky Conference games with 11 walks and fourth in fielding assists and fielding double plays with 40 and four, respectively … Recorded 70 putouts and 108 assists at second base on 185 total chances for a fielding percentage of .962 … Drove in multiple RBI’s in eight games, including a five-RBI game off a grand slam and RBI single in an 11-7 win against Oakland on Feb. 8 at the Georgia Southern Invitational … Named to the Big Sky All-Conference first team for the second consecutive season.
2013: Appeared in all 47 games as a sophomore … Second on the team in both batting average and slugging percentage with .301 and .452, respectively … 14th in Big Sky conference games in batting average with .361 … Led the Bears in triples with six and hit seven doubles … Triple total also led in Big Sky conference games, four more than second … Stole nine bases on 12 attempts … Hit one homerun while recording 14 total runs batted in … Fielding percentage of .951 at 2B.
2012: Her first season with the Bears, Marcovecchio appeared in 52 games … Led the team with 67 overall hits and 12 triples … Those 12 triples not only led the PCSC, but was also the best mark in the entire country … Her 67 hits was best in the PCSC … Batted .374 with 28 RBI and eight stolen bases on the season, while also scoring 28 total runs … One of the best games of her career came in an April contest against Weber State, where she scored a career-high five runs while going a perfect 3-for-3 on the day … In that game all three hits were of the extra base variety (two doubles, one triple) … Finished her freshman campaign as an All-PCSC First Team member.
High School: Marcovecchio was a four-time letter-winner for Legacy High School … She was named to all-conference teams in each of her first three years as a member of the Lightning … Marcovecchio has also been named to all-state teams in her sophomore and junior campaigns as well as being named a team-captain last season … Her career best batting average is .591 and she also lettered in golf … She led Legacy to four-straight state championships … During her senior campaign, she batted .571 with six homeruns, seven doubles, and six triples … Named to both the All-Colorado and 5A All-State teams during her senior year ... Played alongside Duffy for the Colorado Stars … She played club softball for the Colorado Styxx.
