Prior to UNC
2024-25 (Portland): During the 2024-25 season, he averaged 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He also led the Pilots in steals (30) while averaging 23 minutes and earning 16 starts. One of his standout performances came in a win against Denver, where he tallied 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.
2023-24 (Portland): Redshirted.
High School: Joined Arizona Compass Prep, one of the top basketball prep schools in the country, to play his senior season... competed for Phoenix Prep as a junior in the elite prep basketball circuit, The Grind Session… broke the circuit record for most three-pointers in a game (10) and helped lead Phoenix Prep to the Grind Session Final Four.
Personal: Son of Carolyn and Todd Delano … Mother played women’s basketball at Sam Houston State; father attended Texas State … Has two younger brothers: Tyson (14) and Sean (8) … Graduated from AZ Compass Prep in 2023 … Chose UNC because of its winning culture, player development, and strong coaching staff … Intends to major in Business Marketing …
