High School:Â Ramirez broke two school records his junior season by making 87 threes in a season and the single-game field goal percentage record, shooting 12/13 from the field in a single game. Last season as a junior he averaged 19.7 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.7 spg, while shooting 44% from three and 75% from the free-throw line. In two seasons of varsity basketball, he has accumulated over 1,000 career points. Among his many accolades, last season he was named 4A-6A Offensive District Player of the Year and TABC All-Region. In his sophomore season, he was named 4A-6A District Defensive Player of the Year. Ramirez has also excelled in the classroom being named Academic All-District and NHSCA Academic All-American.
