Luke Jarzynka is in his first season as director of operations with the University of Northern Colorado. Jarzynka spent last year as a volunteer assistant helping with opponent breakdowns and cutups, assists the scout defense, and is also involved in various football operations tasks.

Prior to joining UNC, Jarzynka spent the past four seasons coaching at the high school level in Michigan. He spent two years at Lumen Christi High School, and then two years at Hanover-Horton High School. While coaching at the HS level, Jarzynka worked in the gear manufacturing industry for over three years in various project manager roles.

A 2009 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Jarzynka was a Science-Business major and spent the 2007 offseason as a walk-on with the Fightin' Irish football team. He then worked as an undergraduate recruiting assistant for the program from 2008-2009.

Jarzynka is a native of Jackson, Michigan and attended Lumen Christi High School. He played on two state championship teams, and was named captain on the 2004 title team.

Luke and his wife, Marissa, have one son, August.
