UNC Football Unveils 2026 Special Dates for Home Football Season

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado football has announced its 2026 special event schedule, featuring a slate of themed games at Nottingham Field throughout the fall.
The special dates begin on Aug. 28 with City of Greeley Day, recognizing the strong partnership between UNC Athletics and the local community
On Sept. 5, UNC will host Kids Day, providing a family-friendly atmosphere with activities geared toward the youth.
The Bears will celebrate culture and inclusion on Sept. 19 with Latinx Heritage Day, highlighting and honoring the Latinx community and its impact both on campus and across the region sponsored by Banner Health.
Homecoming is set for Sept. 26, bringing together alumni, students and fans sponsored by Bank of Colorado.
Oct. 17 will serve as Military Appreciation Day / Hall of Fame Game sponsored by U.S. Army. The program will honor members of the armed forces while also recognizing the UNC Athletics Hall of Fame.
The regular season home slate concludes on Nov. 14 with Senior Day sponsored by Pepsi, as the Bears celebrate their graduating student-athletes for their contributions to the program.
Game times for all contests will be announced at a later date.
