UNC Announces 2026 Soccer Schedule

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado head coach Tim Barrera announced the 2026 soccer schedule on Wednesday.
The Bears will play 10 non-conference tilts as a build up to the nine-match Big Sky schedule. The 2026 schedule features 11 home matches.
Following an exhibition in Colorado Springs against Colorado College the Bears' season will begin with four straight at home, including three against nearby rivals. The opener will come on August 13 against Denver, with matches against Wyoming (Aug. 16), Colorado State (Aug. 23), and South Dakota (Aug. 27) to wrap up the opening home stand as well as the opening month of the season.
The first road trip of the season will be at Creighton on Sept. 4. The home non-conference slate wraps up with two matches against New Mexico (Sept. 6) and Air Force (Sept. 10).
Directly following the Bears will play three straight matches away from Greeley for the only time this season. UNC will close out the non-conference schedule against UC Riverside (Sept. 17), San Diego State (Sept. 20), and Boise State (Sept. 25).
The Big Sky season will get underway for the Bears back in Greeley with a two-match set against Idaho (Oct. 8) and Eastern Washington (Oct. 11).
The remainder of the Bears home conference matches include Portland State (Oct. 22), Montana (Oct. 25), and Northern Arizona (Nov. 5).
UNC will hit the road in conference at Utah Tech (Oct. 15), Southern Utah (Oct. 18), Weber State (Oct. 29), and Idaho State (Nov. 1).
The Big Sky Tournament will run from Nov. 11-15 in Missoula, Mont.
