SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Northern Colorado outfielder Jaden Stone has been named the Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday, earning his first honor of the 2026 season after a standout series against North Dakota State.
Stone delivered an exceptional performance at the plate, hitting an impressive .615 while posting a .846 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage.
His consistency and production provided a major offensive boost for the Bears throughout the weekend and helped secure the series win over the Bison.
In 13 at-bats against the Bison, Stone recorded eight hits, including a double and a triple. He scored five runs, drove in another, and showed strong discipline at the plate with two walks and just one strikeout. He also excelled defensively, finishing the series with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
"Loved Jaden's performance this past week. He is the ultimate team player and it's great to see him playing for his teammates, brother and family" said Head Coach Mike Anderson.
The senior outfielder from Eaton, Colorado, continues to be a cornerstone for Northern Colorado. Stone currently leads the team with a .343 batting average, 49 hits, and a .437 on-base percentage and will look to carry that momentum as the Bears continue their spring slate.
