An RBI triple from Ethan Mooser highlighted a two-run frame that gave the Bears their first lead of the afternoon. The Tommies tied the game in the fourth, but Northern Colorado again responded in the sixth when Zeke Minic launched a home run and Logan Pruski followed with a solo shot to even the score at 4–4.
