Rogers Clears 2.03m to Lead Bears on Day One at Don Kirby Elite

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Northern Colorado men's track & field turned in a pair of solid performances Friday at the Don Kirby Elite inside the Albuquerque Convention Center, highlighted by a top-eight finish in the high jump.
Tyler Rogers cleared 2.03 meters (6-8) to tie for sixth overall in a competitive high jump field. The mark continues a consistent indoor season for Rogers as he pushes toward championship form heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
On the track, Raphael Egbuchilem clocked a 48.80 in the 400 meters to place 22nd.
Northern Colorado will continue competition Saturday as Daniel Beckford races in the men's 60-meter hurdles, while Alexia Austin and Donice Bruno-Ezealah line up in the women's 60-meter hurdles, Camaria Corder competes in the triple jump, and Monique Stewart takes the track in the 800 meters.
