Dulany Brings Home Trophy at Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The University of Northern Colorado men's golf team concluded the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational with a ninth-place finish on Monday.
Leading the Bears, Kaelen Dulany delivered an outstanding performance across all three rounds. He opened the tournament with a two-under-par 70, followed by a four-under 68, and concluded with a remarkable eight-under 64—the lowest individual round of the tournament. His 54-hole total of 202 places him among the top five for lowest 18-hole scores and top two for lowest 54-hole scores in UNC Golf history.
Tommie Clark maintained consistent form, posting a final round of two-over 74 to finish the event at two-over par. Cooper Tate recorded an even-par 72 in the final round, ending the tournament at four-over. Rowan MacDonald carded a four-over 76 to finish at 11-over par, while Thomas Barnes Grimes closed with a five-over 77, bringing his total to 12-over.
Competing as individuals, Lucas Raoul stood out with a strong showing, finishing two-under par overall. His second-round score of five-under 67 secured him a top 15 individual placement. Takato Imoto finished at five-over for the tournament, while Brad Weinmaster concluded with an eight-over total.
Looking ahead, Dulany and the Bears will seek to build on their momentum at the upcoming Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational, scheduled for September 29–30 at Colorado National Golf Club.
