Bears Set for Final-Round Push in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. – The Northern Colorado Men's Golf Team wrapped up the first two rounds of the Bluejay Invitational at Shadow Ridge Country Club in Omaha, Nebraska, finishing the day in 10th place and looking to make a strong push in the final round.

Leading the way for the Bears was Cooper Tate, who turned in a steady one-over 74 in the opening round before catching fire in round two with a phenomenal six-under 66. His impressive 140 total not only has him tied for seventh on the individual leader board but also featured two clutch eagles that sparked momentum for the squad.

Tommie Clark battled through the course with rounds of 74 and 76, while Lucas Raoul delivered a solid start at 73 before following with a 78. Kaelen Dulany carded back-to-back 77s, and Takato Imoto rounded out the lineup with scores of 81 and 80.

With one round left to play, the Bears are committed to putting together strong final performances as they look to climb the leader board and close out the tournament on a high note.

Tee times for the final round begin Tuesday morning, September 16th, and Northern Colorado will be ready to make its move.
