Bears Complete Fall Camp

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado football wrapped up its final scrimmage of fall camp today at Nottingham Field, officially closing out preseason preparations. With camp now complete, the Bears transition into full game-week mode ahead of their season opener on Saturday, August 30, at 1 p.m. MT against Chadron State.
Northern Colorado enters game week with renewed focus following a fall camp filled with intensive drills, foundational growth, and growing competition across the roster. This final scrimmage served as a key checkpoint, giving coaches and players one final live setting to refine execution and sharpen readiness before opening kickoffs.
As the Bears shift into their weekly game routine, they prepare to launch their 2025 campaign at home on Saturday, August 30 at 1 p.m. MT against Chadron State, hosted at Nottingham Field.
With this contest marking the first of four straight non-conference matchups to launch the season, the Bears will look to set an early tone in front of their home fans.
