Bears Prepare for Road Match Before 2025 Home Opener vs. Fordham
GREELEY, Colo. – The University of Northern Colorado women's soccer team is set to travel north this week to take on regional rival Wyoming in the annual Front Range Derby. The match is scheduled for Thursday, August 21 at 4 p.m. at the Madrid Sports Complex in Laramie, Wyoming.
This year's contest marks the 23rd all-time meeting between the two programs in a rivalry that has become a staple of the Mountain West region. Wyoming currently leads the series with an 11-10-1 record and earned a 2-0 victory in Greeley last season to retain the Front Range Derby trophy.

Wyoming (0-0-1) is coming off a 1-1 result in its season opener at Drake University. With both teams looking to establish early-season momentum, Thursday's game is expected to be another competitive and high-energy battle.
