Taryn Rea Earns Second Team All Conference Honors

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado senior captain and defender Taryn Rea has earned Second Team All-Conference honors, the league officially announced Tuesday.
A consistent force on the field, Rea started and played in all 19 games for the Bears this season, logging an impressive 1,678 minutes — the highest total on the team. As the anchor of Northern Colorado's defensive line, she provided crucial stability and leadership, shutting down opponents' offensive threats and organizing the backfield against fast breaks and set pieces.
In addition to her defensive excellence, Rea contributed offensively with two goals and one assist during the 2025 campaign, showcasing her versatility and impact on both ends of the pitch.
Although the Bears' season came to an early close, the team's determination and competitiveness were evident throughout — qualities embodied by Rea's leadership and relentless effort. Her performance and commitment have set a strong example for her teammates and will leave a lasting mark on the program.
