Bears Deliver Strong Performances at Texas Invite

Jerome Campbell claims third in the 110m hurdles, while Donovan Castillo excels in the 400m at the University of Texas.
AUSTIN, Texas – Northern Colorado track & field made its presence felt at the Texas Invitational over the weekend, as two Bears turned in strong performances against a deep and competitive field at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas.
Jerome Campbell headlined the weekend for UNC with a strong showing in the 110-meter hurdles, placing third overall in the invite section with a time of 13.66. The time ranks among the top marks in the Big Sky this outdoor season and continues Campbell's impressive run of form as championship season approaches.
In the 400-meter dash, Donovan Castillo represented the Bears in a fast field, finishing 13th overall with a time of 47.64 seconds.
