10 Bears Named To Academic All District

GREELEY, Colo. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced this week that 10 student-athletes from the University of Northern Colorado Track & Field and Cross-Country programs were named to the 2025–26 CSC Academic All-District Team.

To qualify for Academic All-District honors in track & field/cross country, student-athletes must hold at least sophomore academic standing, possess a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and rank among the top 50 regionally in an individual event during the 2025-26 athletic year.

Savanna Amack – Journalism
Gwen Seelye – Elementary Education
Ciara Piffarerio – Exercise Science

Men's Track and Field:
Edgar Garcia Medina – Business Administration: Computer Information Systems
Kaliff Guevara – Business Economics
Johnny Fisher – Psychology
Korbin Waugh – Finance

The recognition highlights Northern Colorado's continued commitment to excellence both in competition and in the classroom, as the Bears once again demonstrated their ability to succeed at a high level in all facets of the student-athlete experience.
