Northern Colorado Women’s Soccer Announces 14 Additions to 2025 Roster

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado women's soccer welcomes 12 freshmen and two transfers to the 2025 roster, Head Coach Tim Barrera announced Wednesday.
Breanna Reagan
Midfielder | Rapid City, S.D. | Stevens High School
Breanna Reagan makes the move to Greeley from the Black Hills after a standout career at Stevens High School in Rapid City, South Dakota. A dynamic midfielder, Reagan earned First Team All-State honors three times. In her final season, she was named South Dakota Player of the Year. Off the field, she held a 4.0 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society. Reagan's competitive edge and leadership were on full display when she helped guide her team to a national runner-up finish.
Evangelina Arocho
Forward/Midfielder | Jacksonville, Fla. | Atlantic Coast High School
Evangelina Arocho heads to Greeley from the East Coast after a decorated career at Atlantic Coast High School in Jacksonville, Florida. A versatile attacking player, Arocho lined up as a forward, winger, and attacking midfielder while earning First Team All-Conference honors twice. Arocho brings international experience, having represented Puerto Rico in U17 and U20 CONCACAF competitions, including the 2025 Qualifiers. Off the field, she's a member of the National Honor Society and Art Honor Society. Arocho chose UNC for its strong academics, competitive soccer culture, and a coaching staff that shares her vision for growth.
Jolee Irvin
Forward | St. George, Utah | Snow Canyon High School
Jolee Irvin joins the Bears from the southwest after a successful career at Snow Canyon High School in St. George, Utah. A four-year varsity forward, Irvin brought consistent offensive firepower to the Warriors and was also selected to the ODP National Team. Irvin delivered clutch performances throughout her high school career, scoring game-winning goals against her team's biggest rival for three consecutive years. In addition to soccer, Irvin competed in track and field. She heads to Greeley with her eyes set on a conference title, drawn to UNC for its vibrant community, strong academics, and top-tier soccer program.
Natalie Thompson
Forward/Midfielder | Liberty Lake, Wash. | Ridgeline High School
Natalie Thompson makes her way to Greeley from Liberty Lake, Washington, following a standout run at Ridgeline High School. A central midfielder and forward, Thompson earned First Team All-League honors as a senior after previous All-League selections throughout her high school career. She also made multiple Best XI lists at national events and was selected to play internationally with her ODP team in England, where she scored six goals in three matches. Off the field, Thompson maintained a 4.0 GPA, earned AP Scholar honors, and is a four-year member of the National Honor Society. Soccer runs in the family—both of her parents, Molly and Michael Thompson, played collegiately at Gonzaga University. Drawn to UNC for its blend of strong academics and high-level soccer, Thompson plans to pursue a degree in nursing with long-term goals of working in anesthesiology.
Maria Armatas
Forward/Midfielder | Fort Collins, Colo. | Fort Collins High School
Maria Armatas stays close to home as she makes the short trip from Fort Collins to Greeley to join the Bears. A dynamic forward and midfielder, Armatas played her high school soccer at Fort Collins High, where she earned First Team All-Conference honors three times and was named State Cup MVP twice. She also brings a multi-sport background with experience in basketball and skiing. Off the field, Armatas has held leadership roles as Student Council Chair, is a member of National Honor Society and DECA, and has consistently been recognized as an honor student. Armatas chose UNC for its welcoming environment and the opportunity to compete at a high level. She plans to major in Business with the goal of pursuing a career in law.
Olivia Redmon
Midfielder | Fort Collins, Colo. | Poudre High School
Fort Collins native Olivia Redmon brings versatility and energy to the UNC midfield. A two-sport athlete at Poudre High School, Redmon competed in both soccer and track, earning varsity letters in each and helping set a school record in the 4x200 relay. She previously played at Fossil Ridge High School, where she also earned varsity honors. Academically, Redmon excelled in a rigorous curriculum, taking IB and AP classes while maintaining a 4.317 GPA and earning honor roll recognition. She plans to major in Spanish and International Relations, with aspirations to work in the nonprofit sector. Redmon chose UNC for its strong academic programs and proximity to home, and she's excited to join a community that supports both personal and athletic growth.
Isabella Martinez
Defender | Arvada, Colo. | Ralston Valley High School
Hailing from Arvada, Colorado, Isabella Martinez is a skilled defender with a competitive edge and strong instincts on the back line. A standout at Ralston Valley High School, Martinez earned First Team All-Conference honors and was named Honorable Mention All-State during her prep career. One of her proudest moments came when she helped her club team win a State Cup title. Off the field, she enjoys crafting and plans to major in Health Sciences, with aspirations to work in the medical field. Martinez chose UNC for its supportive environment and the opportunity to grow both academically and athletically.
Isabella Lopez
Forward | Highlands Ranch, Colo. | Arapahoe High School
A dynamic forward from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Bella Lopez brings size, strength, and scoring ability to the UNC attack. A standout at Arapahoe High School, Lopez earned Second Team All-State honors and was named to both the First and Second Team All-League during her high school career. One of her most memorable moments was scoring against powerhouse Cherry Creek. Off the pitch, she enjoys lifting and spending time with friends. Lopez chose UNC for its welcoming environment and supportive community.
Avery Hanson
Forward | Alexandria, Minn. | Alexandria Area High School
Avery Hanson, a forward from Alexandria, Minnesota, adds versatility and energy to the UNC frontline. A standout at Alexandria Area High School, she earned All-Conference Honorable Mention, Central Lakes Athlete of the Week, and multiple academic honors, including Scholar Athlete and Spotlight Scholarship awards. One of her biggest highlights came internationally—being selected to train in Spain and England, expanding her experience on the global stage. Off the field, Hanson enjoys coaching, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and time with friends and family. Drawn to the environment and opportunity at UNC, she begins her collegiate career as a psychology major.
Cassidy Campbell
Midfielder | Kihei, Hawaii | Kihei Charter High School
Cassidy Campbell, a dynamic midfielder from Kihei, Hawaii, brings a diverse skill set to the UNC women's soccer team. A four-year varsity player and captain at Kihei Charter, she has demonstrated leadership both on and off the field. Campbell's athletic abilities extend beyond soccer, as she has competed in surfing, volleyball, swimming, and track. Her passion for sports is matched by her love for outdoor activities, including hiking, shelling, and making jewelry. Academically, she values both the athletic and academic opportunities at UNC, drawn to the campus, facilities, and team environment. As a psychology major, Cassidy looks forward to continuing her growth both as an athlete and a student at UNC.
Lily Kline
Goalkeeper | Chino Valley, Ariz. | Chino Valley High School
Lily Kline, a talented goalkeeper from Chino Valley, Arizona, joins the UNC women's soccer team with a strong athletic background. She is the daughter of Leisa Brug, who competed in rodeo at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Adam Kline, who played water polo at Claremont McKenna and Pepperdine. As a high school defensive player of the year and a captain on her club team, Kline has demonstrated her leadership and shot-stopping ability. She was also part of the AZ Olympic Development team for the 2006 age group. Kline excels both in soccer and other sports, including rodeo, track, snowboarding, and basketball. Academically, she has earned recognition as a National Honor Society member and has been on the Superintendent's list multiple times with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Pursuing a degree in Political Science, Kline chose UNC for its strong academic resources and positive team environment, with aspirations of becoming a lawyer.
Gabriella Ferrante
Forward | Mililani, Hawaii | Mililani High School
Gabriella Ferrante is a promising forward for the University of Northern Colorado, where she plans to graduate in 2029 with a major in General Business. A native of Mililani, Hawaii, Ferrante attended Mililani High School and was a standout on her soccer team, earning HHSSAA 2024 Honorable Mention and MVP for the 2022 season. Her career highlights also include leading her team to an OIA Title without conceding a single goal during the season. Off the field, Ferrante enjoys baking, hiking, and spending time at the beach. Her career aspirations include running her own business in real estate. Gabriella chose UNC not only for its strong business programs but also for the opportunity to develop in a competitive soccer environment. Her father, Clint Ogasawara, is an alumnus of the University of Northern Colorado, further connecting her to the school.
Trinity Reagan
Center/Midfielder | Rapid City, S.D. | Southwest Minnesota State University
Trinity Reagan is a center midfielder joining UNC women's soccer in Fall 2025 as a transfer from Southwest Minnesota State University. A Rapid City, South Dakota native, she is set to graduate in 2027 with a degree in Biology. Reagan was a standout at Stevens High School, earning First Team All-State and Best of the West honors her senior year, and was an ODP Regional Selection in both 2018 and 2019. She graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the National Honor Society. One of her favorite sports memories is scoring in her first game back after nearly a year off due to injury. Trinity comes from a soccer family—her mother, Misty, played at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and her father, Robert, played at Briar Cliff University. She is also the older sister of fellow UNC 2025 signee Breanna Reagan and looks forward to achieving their shared dream of playing college soccer together.
Brooklyn Hurt
Center | Chandler, Ariz. | Abilene Christian University
Brooklyn Hurt joins the Bears as a transfer from Abilene Christian University and brings a proven record of defensive strength and leadership. Originally from Chandler, Arizona, Hurt starred at Hamilton High School, where she was a three-year varsity player, senior captain, and earned First Team All-State honors from the Chandler Unified School District. Her club experience includes playing for the Utah Royals ECNL team under coach Tiffany Roberts, where she helped her team finish fifth in the nation at the 2023 ECNL Nationals and captained a squad that won the 2021 DPL National Championship. Off the field, she graduated magna cum laude, was an AP Scholar, and made the Dean's List at both Hamilton and ACU. She brings a relentless work ethic, having posted a 5:48 mile and a standout Nike Sparq score. Drawn to UNC for its welcoming atmosphere, Hurt is pursuing a degree in Biology with a pre-health focus and plans to become a psychiatrist.
