Bears Open Summit League Play Friday

UNC Hosts South Dakota State Friday-Sunday
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado opens Summit League play with a three-game series against South Dakota State Friday, March 14 – Saturday, March 16.
The Bears trail the all-time series 40-34 but swept all six games in 2024. UNC scored at least 10 runs in each game last season, averaging 16.8 runs per contest. The Bears outscored the Jackrabbits 101-46, including 37-20 in the three games at Jackson field.
UNC took the opener 13-5, with a seven-run fourth, before squeaking out a 10-9 victory in the second game. The Bears defeated South Dakota State 14-6 in the finale, scoring 10 runs over the last three frames.
