UNC and Air Force Meet Tuesday

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado continues its season-opening 13-game road trip with a midweek clash at Air Force Tuesday.

The Bears and Falcons meet at Erdle Field, with a 2 p.m. scheduled first pitch.

Tuesday's contest marks the fifth of nine consecutive games against opponents from the Mountain West Conference. UNC split a four-game weekend series at New Mexico and wraps up the road trip at Nevada with four more Feb. 28-March 2.

COLLECTING AWARDS

Jake King earned his second consecutive Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, announced Monday.
The senior outfielder from Buckeye, Ariz., collected the accolade after his second stellar weekend to start the 2025 campaign.
King slashed .474/.524/.632 over the four-game series at New Mexico.
He went 9-for-19 at the plate, with three doubles, scoring three times and drove in six more.

UNC leads the Summit League in walks, batting average, doubles, hit by pitch, hits, on-base percentage, runs and sacrifice flies.
The Bears rank in the top 50 nationally in doubles, hit-by-pitch, hits, runs and sac flies.
Kai Wagner paces the conference in walks, doubles, doubles per game, home runs, runs scored and total bases.
King sits atop the conference in doubles, doubles per game, hits and hits per game.
Tony Castonguay leads the Summit in runs batted in, RBIs per game, sacrifice flies and triples.
Carter Monda paces the conference in hit-by-pitch.
Luke Guest made the most appearances on the mound through the first two weeks in the league.
