Quinn Denker Earns Lou Henson Award National Player of the Week Honors

BOSTON, Mass. – Northern Colorado guard Quinn Denker has been named the Lou Henson Award National Player of the Week, as announced by College Insider.
Denker delivered a career performance to lead the Bears to a marquee road victory over in-state rival Colorado Buffaloes, scoring a career-high 33 points in Northern Colorado's 86-81 win in Boulder. The victory marked the program's first road win over Colorado since 1935.
In addition to his scoring outburst, the 6-foot-3 graduate student filled the stat sheet with eight rebounds and eight assists, powering a complete team effort as the Bears are ranked No. 23 in the Mid-Major Top 25.
Presented annually to the nation's top mid-major player, the Lou Henson Award is determined by a voting panel comprised of Division I head coaches, athletic administrators, and senior College Insider staff members.
