Northern Colorado Finishes Ninth to Close Fall at Powercat Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Northern Colorado women's golf closed out the fall portion of its schedule with a ninth-place finish at the Powercat Invitational, hosted by Kansas State at Colbert Hills Golf Course.
The Bears finished at +95 for the tournament after rounds of 333, 310 and 328, moving up one spot on the final day to secure a top-10 finish in the 16-team field. Host Kansas State claimed the team title at +13, followed by Cincinnati (+40) and Wichita State (+61).
Sophomore Jaci Hartman led the way for Northern Colorado, finishing tied for 29th at +22 (79-78-81). Olivia Salonek joined her in the top 40, tying for 34th at +23 (83-75-80). Timbre Shehee and Samantha Colombine both finished tied for 43rd at +27 and +28, respectively, while Carolina Fallotico rounded out the Bears' lineup tied for 58th at +31.
The result marked another steady performance for the Bears, who showed balance throughout the lineup and resilience in challenging scoring conditions across three rounds.
