Shehee, Hartman Lead Northern Colorado Golf on Day One at SDSU Classic

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Northern Colorado women's golf completed day one of the San Diego State Classic at The Heights Country Club on Monday, posting a strong showing highlighted by multiple bounce-back rounds and a climb up the team standings.
The Bears showed resilience throughout the day, turning in improved scores in the second round. Timbre Shehee and Jaci Hartman led the charge on the individual leaderboard, each making significant jumps. Hartman moved up 25 spots, while Shehee climbed 24 positions, powered by a standout 68 in the second round.
After two rounds of play, Hartman sits tied for eighth, while Shehee is tied for third to pace the Bears.
Samantha Colombine turned in a steady and consistent day for Northern Colorado, finishing at +3 through two rounds. Olivia Salonek closed the day at +10, highlighted by an even-par 72 in her second round, while Carolina Fallotico rounded out the Bears scoring at +17 through two rounds.
Northern Colorado is tied for sixth in the team standings heading into the final day of competition.
