UNC Women’s Golf Opens Spring Golf Slate in San Diego

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado women's golf team is set to open its spring season on Monday, February 9, traveling to San Diego, California, to compete in the San Diego State Classic Invitational. The two-day event will be hosted by San Diego State at Bernardo Heights Country Club.
The course will play at 5,861 yards and a par 72, offering a balanced yet demanding test. With a strong field on hand, the Bears will be challenged early in the spring season, as scoring chances are offset by difficult holes that will test the team's depth throughout the lineup.
The tournament marks the team's first competition since concluding the fall season, offering an opportunity to translate offseason work into performance on the course.
As Northern Colorado begins its push toward postseason play, the Bears will look to establish rhythm, build early momentum, and develop consistency throughout the lineup as the spring campaign gets underway.
