Building Champions Campaign raises over $351,000 for student-athletes

The University of Northern Colorado is proud to announce the success of this year's Building Champions Giving Campaign. Thanks to the incredible passion and generosity of the UNC Athletics community, a record-breaking $351,756 was raised from 711 donors. That's a 25% increase over last year, adding over $90,000 and 74 more supporters to the effort.
Our donors truly raised the bar this year, said Darren Dunn, Director of Athletics. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support and generosity of the UNC Athletics community. Every dollar invested directly impacts the lives of our student-athletes, and builds champions for life.
This annual campaign provides an opportunity for alumni, parents, friends, and fans to directly impact the student-athlete experience by supporting specific team needs and initiatives.

Below are individual program's results:
- Women's Basketball: $80,240 raised by 69 donors
- Men's Basketball: $46,275 raised by 32 donors
- Swimming and Diving: $40,095 raised by 136 donors
- Softball: $35,285 raised by 158 donors
- Track & Field and Cross Country: $22,980 raised by 20 donors
- Volleyball: $21,880 raised by 57 donors
- Football: $19,940 raised by 42 donors
- Baseball: $19,575 raised by 28 donors
- Men's Golf: $18,370 raised by 10 donors
- Soccer: $14,525 raised by 14 donors
- Wrestling: $13,435 raised by 73 donors
- Women's Golf: $11,240 raised by 16 donors
- UNC Cheer: $7,916 raised by 88 donors
