Northern Colorado Athletics Sets Academic Mark with 3.42 Spring GPA

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado Athletics delivered one of the strongest academic semesters in recent department history during the Spring 2026 term, posting record-setting grade point averages across multiple benchmarks.
The Bears recorded a 3.422 department GPA, the highest single-term GPA for Northern Colorado Athletics in more than six years.
Seven programs led the way academically with term GPA's above 3.50.

Women's Golf – 3.84
Women's Volleyball – 3.71
Women's Soccer – 3.66
Men's Golf – 3.67
Women's Swimming & Diving – 3.57
Women's Basketball - 3.55
Women's Track & Field – 3.52
Softball – 3.47
Men's Basketball – 3.38
Baseball – 3.41
Men's Track & Field – 3.42
Men's Football – 3.22
Men's Wrestling – 3.00
