UNC Athletics Announces Staffing Changes

GREELEY, Colo. - The University of Northern Colorado Athletics Department has announced staff additions.
Sammantha Schweikert joins UNC Athletics as the Assistant Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement. Schweikert brings experience across both collegiate and professional athletics, with a strong background in marketing, communications, and fan engagement. She served as Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement at Oral Roberts University, where she led game-day production and developed campaigns to drive attendance and enhance the fan experience. Prior to ORU, she worked with the Oklahoma City Thunder as a Basketball Communications Associate and held a leadership role as a marketing and fan experience intern at the University of Oklahoma.
Logan Chase joins UNC Athletics as Assistant Director for Facilities and Events, bringing experience in athletic venue management, event coordination, and game-day operations. Chase served as Assistant General Manager at NOCO Sports Center, where he oversaw daily operations for leagues, tournaments, rentals, and special events while managing staffing, scheduling, and customer service. Chase also brings experience having worked at Future Legends Sports Complex in Windsor, where he advanced from Facility Coordinator to Sports Coordinator, supporting large-scale sporting events, tournaments, and daily programming across a multi-use athletic facility. A former Division I baseball student-athlete at UNC, Chase brings a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and teamwork to his work in athletics operations and fan experience.
Aiden Tank joins UNC Athletics as the Director of Strategic Communications with experience in athletic communications, media relations, and game-day operations at both the collegiate and professional levels. Prior to UNC, Tank served as an Athletic Communications Assistant at the University of Colorado, where he was the primary contact for women's tennis and supported football and men's basketball. At Colorado, Tank managed game notes and credentialing operations during the Deion "Coach Prime" Sander's era, while supporting nationally prominent football coverage and high-volume media operations at Folsom Field. Tank led communications for women's tennis, overseeing content, media relations, and student staff while helping produce the program's first-ever live-streamed home match. His experience includes game day PR work with the Denver Broncos, along with prior roles at the Air Force Academy and Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
