Buzzer Beater Snaps Winning Streak

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho (9-11, 4-3 Big Sky) snapped Northern Colorado's eight-game winning streak with a 3-pointer from 25 feet away from the basket at ICCU Arena Thursday.
Trailing 76-74, Kolton Mitchell tossed up a shot that went through the bottom of the net as time expired.
UNC (14-6, 6-1 Big Sky) led most of the way, including by as many as 13 in the second half, including by two points with four seconds left. Jaron Rillie held for the Bears final shot and converted a runner in the lane as the shot clock expired.
Rillie sent the Bears to the locker room with a 36-26 advantage, their largest of the half, by scoring the final five points himself. He converted a pair of free-throw attempts with 37 seconds remaining, before draining a triple at the buzzer. Rillie finished with a season-high 19 points on 8 of 10 shooting, with five rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Langston Reynolds tallied his sixth 20-point game of the season, pacing UNC with 22 points on 5 of 8 from the field and draining all 11 attempts at the free-throw line. He added six rebounds, three assists, one steal and a block.
Brock Wisne went 6 for 10 from the floor, inked 14 points, with a game-high seven rebounds and three assists.
Quinn Denker, the former Vandal, netted 12 points, two assists, one rebound and one steal in his first trip back to Moscow.
