MISSOULA, Mont. – Northern Colorado (12-5, 4-0 Big Sky) controlled every facet of Saturday's 81-57 win over Montana (10-7, 3-1) at Dahlberg Arena.
In a matchup of the only two unbeaten teams in Big Sky Conference play, the Bears knocked down 34 of 60 (57%) from the floor and held Montana to 20 of 58 (35%). UNC extended its winning streak to six, converting over half of its attempts in each contest.
Langston Reynolds registered his second double-double of the season with 17 points, a career-high 15 rebounds and dished out three assists.
UNC doubled the Grizzlies points-in-point 52-26 and 44-27 on the glass.
Reynolds layup at the horn pushed the Bears advantage to 43-26 at intermission. They built their -largest lead at 81-49 with 3:38 remaining.
Brock Wisne went 9 of 12 from the floor to lead all scorers and tallied 19 points, eight rebounds and a career-high five assists.
Isaiah Hawthorne sank 8 of 14 and finished with 17 points and six rebounds. Zach Bloch netted 10 points and two steals.
Jaron Rillie stuffed the stat sheet with six points, five rebounds, seven assists and two steals. He inked five or more assists in five of the last six games.
NEXT HOME GAME: The Bears return to Bank of Colorado Arena Thursday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m., when they host Portland State.
