INSIDE THE SERIES: UNC VS. AIRFORCE

The season opener for both squads marks the 22^nd meeting all-time between the Bears and Falcons, including each of the last four seasons.
UNC leads the all-time series 13W-5-L-3D, including 6W-2L-2D over the last 10.
The Bears own a 5W-2L-0D mark on their home pitch.
Air Force enters Thursday's fixture on a three-match unbeaten streak, defeating UNC 2-1 each of the last two seasons.

TOOTING HER HORN

Lexi Tuite returns for her sophomore season after leading the Bears in goals, points, shot attempts and shots on goal.
Tuite notched the first hat trick during UNC's NCAA Division I era, which began in 2006.
She tallied six goals and 13 points in her rookie campaign.
Tuite registered the first goal of her collegiate career at Air Force Aug. 27, 2023.
