"Jerome is prepared and ready to do what he came to Eugene for," UNC Director of Track & Field and Cross Country said. "Our goal tomorrow is to execute the race plan and advance to the finals Friday."
The 12-fastest times from the two regionals convene in Eugene, Oregon, for the semifinals at Hayward Field. Wednesday's semifinal slices the field in half, with the final 12 competing for the national championship.
The Kingston, Jamaica native finished fourth in the 110-meter Hurdles Wednesday, May 22, in the first round of the NCAA West Regionals – hosted by Arkansas. He set a new personal best and UNC program record with a time of 13.36 at John McDonnell Field.
